If zoom and other programs do not have access to your camera/microphone, you can change the settings yourself for it to work.

First click on your windows key in the lower left corner of the desktop.

Then click on the settings icon

Then type camera in the search window (do not press enter)

Then click on Choose which apps can access your camera

You will see if your camera access has been turned off

Click on change and it will allow you to turn the access on

Close the window when done, your settings will be automatically saved.

Repeat the procedure substituting MICROPHONE for camera
